One of the South’s most exciting farm-to-table restaurants, Common Thread maintains a focus on community. Its owners established the Rootstock Community Foundation to support mental health care among restaurant workers. The menu pulls from global influences and ingredients from the owners’ farm located 30 minutes away. The result is a fresh vision of Southern food, like the pork collar in bulgogi glaze with cowpeas, peaches, squash, peanuts and celery pistou. There’s always a vegetarian menu available, and wines are chosen for their food-friendliness.
